We will visit you at your construction site, home or business to listen carefully and discuss your budget and wish list while making notes as to what is needed for each room and for each individual living there to access your systems . We take time to discuss  different system options and establish which offer the best value for your money, fit your lifestyle and decor concept.


PROPOSAL

DESIGN AND SPECIFICATIONS

For larger projects with plans in place, whether you are doing a retro-fit project or building a new home, we will work closely with your builder, interior designer, contractor and other trades on your design team to create a detailed plan with technical specs as required .


INSTALLATION & Project Management

Every installation is as important to us as it is to our clients and we pride ourselves on strong client relationships and meticulous attention to design and detail. We will work with you and your team on convenient scheduling throughout the construction process, communicate through challenges and execute your project with care.

We are dedicated to teaching you how to control your systems with simple hand-held remotes or in-wall touch screen panels including iPads, iPhone and Smart Phone technology.   We provide on-site service and maintenance.

Pedro Steck, owner of IQ Automation + Design, has 20+ years under his belt as an electronic engineer with the last 15 years dedicated to designing, managing and installing automation and entertainment systems around the GTA and internationally.

Pedro’s love of all things electronic and technical started as a child. As young as 7 years old, Pedro was taking apart small appliances, radios and televisions. His explanation: he needed to know how they worked! 

There was no doubt in anyone’s mind Pedro would grow up to study, design and even invent electronics.

Pedro has an incredible eye for detail, impeccable workmanship and an obsession to keep every job site clean. He prides himself in providing an exceptional customer experience  and designing smart homes that are superior quality and user friendly .

Pedro loves the outdoors as much as he loves to sit in front of a computer to expand his knowledge. When he’s not researching new systems and tech products you will find him and his son up north honing their archery skills or with his family camping in the Sudbury area.
